Abstract landscapes

Sometimes I start a painting without having a plan about the subject. Then I start experimenting with the materials, textures and colors, which are chosen intuitively. Such a sensual process can lead to a unique expression that can be quite moving on the viewer. To breathe even more life into the painting, I emphasize shapes and nuance colors, layer upon layer, repeatedly until it feels right.
